In Vitro OSBPL7-IN-1 (compound G or Cpd G; 1-10 µM) increase plasma membrane ATP-binding cassette transporter (ABCA1) in cultured human podocytes, and significantly increase ABCA1-dependent cholesterol efflux[1].
In Vivo OSBPL7-IN-1 (100 mg/kg; oral gavage; daily; for 28 days) treatment normalizes proteinuria and prevents renal function decline in mouse models of proteinuric kidney disease[1]. Animal Model: Female Balb/c mice induced by Adriamycin (ADR)[1] Dosage: 100 mg/kg Administration: Oral gavage; daily; for 28 days Result: Normalized proteinuria, and significantly reduced renal fibrosis and renal functional decline.
