Application
UV ABSORBER HOSORB-234 is a high molecular weight ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) of the hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole class. It has low volatility at high temperatures and high resistance to thermal degradation for compounding and molding applications. It is highly effective for polymers processed at high temperature such as polycarbonate, polyester, polyacetal, PPO, polyamide, aromatic copolymers, thermoplastic polyurethane and polyurethane fibers etc.. It is also useful in the light stabilization of powder coatings and solvent-based coatings.
