[In Vitro]

K34c (20 μM; 24 or 48 h) significantly induces U87MG cells apoptosis in combination with 1 μM Ellipticine (HY-15753)[1]. K34c (20 μM; 48 h) decreases significantly Temozolomide (HY-17364)-induced senescence in cells transfected with control non targeting siRNA without affecting significantly the residual senescence of cells transfected with siRNA specific for p53[1]. K34c (20 μM; 24 h) modulates the p53 pathway. Apoptosis Analysis[1] Cell Line: U87MG cells Concentration: 20 μM Incubation Time: 24 or 48 h Result: Induced apoptosis, led to a significant increase in apoptotic cell death measured by the population of sub-G1 cells in combination with 1 μM Ellipticine (HY-15753). Western Blot Analysis[1] Cell Line: U87MG cells Concentration: 20 μM Incubation Time: 24 h Result: Decreased Ellipticine (HY-15753)- and Temozolomide (HY-17364)-induced activation of p53.
