Biological Activity

[Description]:

Sanggenon G is a cell-permeable and potent inhibitor of X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein (XIAP). Sanggenon G binds specifically to the BIR3 domain of XIAP with a binding affinity of 34.26 μM. Sanggenon G enhances caspase activation[1].

Sanggenon G (14.4 μM, 24 h) 增强 caspase-8、-3 和 -9 的切割，从 XIAP 中置换 caspase-9 并使 Molt3/XIAP 细胞对 Etoposide (HY-13629) 诱导的细胞凋亡敏感[1]。 Sanggenon G 不仅使过表达 XIAP 的白血病细胞系 Molt3/XIAP 对依托泊苷 (HY-13629) 治疗敏感，而且使内源性表达高水平 XIAP 的不同神经母细胞瘤细胞系敏感[1]。
