Mecasermin

Mecasermin (Human IGF-I; FK 780) is a recombinant human insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I). Mecasermin has the potential for the study of the growth failure of growth hormone (GH) insensitivity caused by GH receptor defects or GH-inhibiting antibodies[1].

Mecasermin (rhIGF1; 0.25 mg/kg; i.p.; daily; 6 weeks) 可将血清中的 IGF1 浓度提高至接近正常水平，并改善多种表型，包括机体和行为功能、突触和回路可塑性、神经元结构和分子信号通路[2]。 Animal Model: Mecp2 hemizygous KO mice[2] Dosage: 0.25 mg/kg Administration: i.p.; daily; 6 weeks Result: Improved lifespan, locomotor activity, heart rate, respiration patterns, and social and anxiety behavior.
