Biological Activity

[Description]:

Piperitenone oxide (lippione), a monoterpene, can be isolated from the n-hexane extract from spearmint (Mentha spicata) leaves. Piperitenone oxide is a potent inducer of differentiation in a RCM-1 human colon cancer cell line[1].
