A potent acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor with IC50 of 1.3 nM; exhibits high selectivity for acetylcholinesterase inhibition over butyrylcholinesterase inhibition; increases rhythmic bladder contractions in Guinea pigs and rats without affecting the basal intravesical pressure.
