Biological Activity
[Description]:
Curcumin-β-D-glucuronide is a major metabolite after oral intake of Curcumin in hepatic tissue and portal blood. Curcumin-β-D-glucuronide can be used for the research of colon cancer[1][2].

Curcumin-β-D-glucuronide (90 mg/kg; i.p. thrice a week for 3 weeks) exhibit potent anti-tumor effects on KRASm/TP53w HCT116 xenograft model[1]. Animal Model: Female BALB/c/AnNCr j‐nu/nude mice (6 weeks) were transplanted KRASm/TP53w HCT116 cells[1] Dosage: 90 mg/kg Administration: I.p. thrice a week for 3 weeks Result: Suppressed tumor growth by 38%. Did not show a negative impact on body weight. Attenuated NF‐κB activity.
