Biological Activity
[Description]:
1E7-03 is a small molecule targeting the RVxF interacting site on PP1, inhibits HIV-1, Ebolavirus (EBOV), and Venezuelan equine encephalitis virus (VEEV, EC50=0.6 uM); disrupts the interaction of Tat with PP1, inhibits HIV-1 transcription with IC50 of 2 uM, with no cytotoxicity and displays a plasma half-life greater than 8 h in mice; inhibits EBOV transcription and strongly induces VP30 phosphorylation in the N-terminal Ser residues 29-46.
