Biological Activity

[Description]:

DDD 85646 is a potent, specific, dual N-Myristoyltransferase NMT1/NMT2 inhibitor with IC50 of 17 nM/22 nM respectively; inhibits myristoylation of an overexpressed protein construct in-cell-based microscopy assays; has no significant affect protein synthesis in cells; causes complete inhibition of N-myristoylation in cells at 1-10 uM; induces ER-stress, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis in cancer cells.
