[Description]:

JNJ-40413269 is a potent, selective, blood brain barrier (BBB) penetrant FAAH inhibitor with IC50 of 5.3 and 6.3 nM for hFAAH and rFAAH, respectively; exhibits a robust dose-dependent decrease in mechanical allodynia in the spinal nerve ligation model of neuropathic pain; strongly raises the brain levels of AEA, PEA and OEA.
