C450-0730 is a potent LuxN antagonist that antagonizes LuxN-AI-1 binding with IC50 of 2.7 uM; competes for the AI-1 binding site of LuxN; inhibition for mutant LuxN G271D, R245L, and S184N is similar to that required to inhibit wild-type LuxN.
