Biological Activity
[Description]:
RETRA hydrobromide is a small molecule mutant p53 reactivator that activates a set of p53-regulated genes and specifically suppresses mutant p53-bearing tumor cells in vitro and in mouse xenograft; increases in the expression level of p73, releases p73 and poduces tumor-suppressor effects similar to the functional reactivation of p53; a p73 activator.
