Abstract
Abstract Aliphatic and cycloaliphatic α-hydroxylaminocarboxylic acids are smoothly decarbonylated in dilute oleum at room temperature. For example, α-hydroxyl- aminocyclohexanecarboxylic acid (II) gives a high yield of carbon monoxide and caprolactam.
