Abstract

THE reaction of 4-thionchromones (eg, I) with primary amino-compounds has been but little studied (see Campaigne, Chem. Reviews, 1946, 39, a), and we now record an extension of our previous investigation (see Baker, Harborne, and Ollis, J., 1952, 1303, where references to earlier work are included).
