Abstract

3436 NOTES Vol. 77 aminopyridine with acrylonitrile, a non-cyclic analog of 2-vinylpyridineI also have failed.* It should be noted that while cyclohexylamine was pyridylethylated in 60y0 yield under acidic conditions, the same reaction failed when it was attempted earlier5 under non-catalytic conditions.
