Abstract

Plasmochin (pamaquine), 6-(4-diethylamino-l-methylbutylamino)-6-methoxyquinoline, and its derivatives have been the subject of an immense amount of research because of the reported curative action of Plasmochin on vivax malaria2 when the drug is administered with quinine at approximately the maximum tolerated dosage level.
