Abstract
The synthesis of cis-and trans-aziridine hydroxamic acid derivatives as MMP inhibitors is described using enantio-and diastereoselective methods for the formation of trisubstituted aziridines. Their preliminary inhibitory activity is reported and discussed in the context of modeling studies.
