Abstract
Eleven patients burned, with CD-4-a colon darlopel were cured in our hospital from July 1978 to March 1986. Five of them were combined with acute poisoning. CD-4 is a poisonous, corrosive and irritant compound of ammonic benzene. It can be absorbed through skin. Five cases of CD-4 poisoning were treated with methylene blue and sodium thiosulfate. According to the degree of poisoning. Combination of Chinese traditional medicine and western medicine to protect the functions of liver, kidney and blood reproduction. The wounds were debrided in the early stage. Third degree eschar was cut off completely and skin graft was taken to prevent further poisoning.
