Abstract
We report the discovery of novel uracil-based acyclic compounds as inhibitors of deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate nucleotidohydrolase (dUTPase), an enzyme involved in nucleotide metabolism that has been identified as a promising target for the development of antimalarial drugs.
