Abstract
RF+ BF3+ R20-+ RjO'BF4-(also SbCl,, SbFS, SnCl,, etc.) normally employed in polar solvents or under heterogeneous conditions. We report here a method for the preparation of highly reactive alkylating agents under mild conditions in nonpolar solvents and in the absence of strong electrophilic reagents.
