Abstract

Perfluoroalkyl iodides RFI, in dissociating solvents, in the presence of zinc-copper couple give perfluoroorganic compounds RFZnl, which react with alkyl carbonates and pyrocarbonates to give perfluorocarboxylic acids and perfluorocarboxylic esters of industrial interest.
