Abstract

The molecules of 2-benzyl-3-(2-bromophenyl) propiononitrile, C16H14BrN, are linked into chains by a single C—H⋯ N hydrogen bond. The molecules of methyl 2-benzyl-2-cyano-3- phenylpropionate, C18H17NO2, are linked into sheets by a combination of C—H⋯ O and C— H⋯ π (arene) hydrogen bonds.
