Abstract

Studies in the synthesis of 2-alkoxyl-1, 3-dihalogenated propane have been made by Reboul-Lourenco2 and PaaL3 These investigators have synthesized the mixed 1, a- dihalogenated substituted compounds. Hess4 and Hibbert, E, however, have prepared the symmetrical dichloro methyl ether of propane.
