Abstract
Abstract The reaction of benzene with ethylene and propylene oxides in a helium atmosphere with aluminum chloride as a catalyst and the esterification of the resulting alcohols with saturated monocarboxylic acids in the presence of the heterogeneous catalyst KU-2-8 were studied.
