Abstract
Following our studiest~~~ on the transformation of the main components of Cistus ludaniferus to obtain derivatives with amber odor, we now wish to report the conversion of labdanolic acid into oxides 8 and 9, ambroxdiol 13 and 12_rtorambreinolide, 17. Labdanolic acid la is the main component of the acid fraction of Cistus laakmiferus obtained from a hexane extract of the plant.
