Abstract

To determine ampelopsin in the root, stem and leaf of Ampelopsis grossedentata in different seasons by RP-HPLC.The determination was carried out with ODS column (5 microns, 250 mm x 46 mm), using methanol-water-phosphoric acid(25:75:0.1) as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min and detected at the wavelength 289 nm.Ampelopsin content was in the order of leaf > stem > root. Ampelopsin content in Ampelopsis grossedentata collected in April and May was the highest.
