Abstract
Abstract 4-Phenyl-2 H-pyrimido [2, 1-b] benzothiazol-2-ones have been synthesized in quantitative yields by the reaction of 2-aminobenzothiazoles with alkynoic acid. The antimicrobial activity of the synthesized compounds was tested against bacterial species, Bacillus coagulans, Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
