Abstract
The reported ability of 1-methyl-3-nitro-1-nitrosoguanidine to increase the life span of mice implanted intraperitoneally with Leukemia L12102 prompted us to investigate the anticancer activity of the closely related compound, 1-methyl-1-nitro~ ourea.~ Although this compound showed only borderline activity against Adenocarcinoma 755 and Sarcoma 180, it proved even more effective, in our hands, against Leukemia L1210 than l-methyl-3-nitro-l- ...
