Abstract
Typical Procedure as follows: In a 50 mL stainless steel autoclave were placed diketone (2 mmol), Se (1 mmol), H 2 O (20 mmol), DBU (4 mmol), and THF (5 mL), and the mixture was heated at 120 °C for 24 h under the pressure of CO (30 atm: initial pressure at 25 °C). After the reaction was complete, carbon monoxide was purged in a well ventilated hood, and air was blown into the solution for 10 min in order to oxidize the remaining hydrogen selenide to elemental ...
