Abstract

Chemistry. 2 '-Hydroxy-, 4'-Hydroxy-, 5 '-Hydroxy-, 6'-Hydroxy-, and 7'-Hydroxypropranolol (la, cf). Five of the isomers of hydroxypropranolol were prepared from the corresponding methoxynaphthols (h, cf) by the route shown in Scheme I.
