Abstract

Anal. Calcd for CgHSN20: C, 67.50; H, 5.00. Found: C, 67.49; H, 5.10. 2-(x-Chloropheny1) oxazoles. The three aminophenyloxazoles (3-g samples) were subjected to Sandmeyer reaction^.^ 2-(m-Chloropheny1) oxazole (mp 34-35" C) was obtained after recrystallization from methylcyclohexane. The yield of crude compound before recrystallization was 3 g (90% of the theoretical). Anal. Calcd for CgH6NOC1: C, 60.17; H, 3.34. Found: C, 60.05; H, 3.25. ...
