Abstract
(4) The viscous residues after distillation were found to be water soluble and the aqueous solution gave a positive test for chloride ion. Significant infrared absorptions of the residues were found at: IXa (3% CHCls), 4 07, 6.12 p; IXb (3% CHCls), 4.06 6.12 p: IXc (film), 6.00, 6.13, 6.37 p; XI (film), 5.92, 6.03, 6.13 p.
