Abstract
40.2 g. of#-phenylsulfonamidotoluene,'22.0 g. of hexamethylene bromide, 75.0 g. of anhydrous potassium carbonate and 300 ml. of acetone was boiled under reflux, with stirring, for 2 hours. After three-fourths of the acetone had been distilled from the reaction mixture, the residue was poured into 1 1. of water.
