Abstract
After some years of extensive research into lithio derivatives of diazines, it was established that they are very powerful tools for the syntheses of such heterocycles. Their main drawback are that they are generally only stable at very low temperature (<−50°C). A possible solution to this problem is to use other organometallic derivatives.
