Abstract
A mild step and atom-economical nonepimerizing chemo-and enantioselective N-alkylating procedure has been developed via oxidation/imine–iminium formation/reduction cascade using TEMPO–BAIB–HEH–Brønsted acid catalysis in DMPU as solvent and a stoichiometric amount of amine.
