Abstract

Highlights ► A 13-week dietary toxicity study of hinokitiol is performed for re-evaluation. ► The no-observed-adverse-effect level for male and female F344 rats is 12.7 and 14.8mg/kgb.w./day, respectively. ► Myocarditis observed in previous studies is not evident.
