Abstract

Summary The synthesis of three new ethers, methoxymethyl-, ethoxymethyl-and butoxymethyltrimethylsilanes is reported, and the tendency of chloromethyltrimethylsilane to undergo hydrolytic cleavage under the influence of alcoholic sodium alkoxides was studied.*
