Abstract
Sulfur hexafluoride is widely used as an inert dielectric in a variety of electrical devices.'In the event of an electrical discharge, SF6 can give rise to a variety of byproducts including some sulfur oxyfluorides when oxygen sources are present. Pure calibration standards of these byproducts are necessary for detailed analysis of such systems.
