Abstract

Abstract Mizoroki-Heck cross-coupling reactions of 2-acetyl-5-bromobenzofuran as well as activated and deactivated aryl bromides with various olefins were investigated under both thermal as well as microwave irradiating conditions in open air using water solvent. Keywords: Palladium, catalysis, microwave, cross coupling reactions, benzofurans, aryl halides
