Abstract

Some galactose–oligopyridine conjugates were readily assembled by combining differently functionalized oligopyridines with peracetylated galactose derivatives. Variation in the structure of the components and of the linkers employed for their connection afforded adducts of different size, shape, and conformational mobility.
