Abstract The herbicide isoxaflutole 1 (5-cyclopropyl-4-isoxazolyl)[2-(methylsulfonyl)-4- (trifluoromethyl) phenyl]-methanone) has been applied preemergence at the rate of 125 g ha− 1 on corn crops grown on fields located in regions different as to their soil textures.
