Abstract

Tin element compounds R3SnE (R= Me or Ph; E= Net2, OMe or OSnMe3) react with R2N− P= NR (R= SiMe3)(1) by 1, 1-addition at phosphorus yielding the P-stannylated iminophosphoranes R3Sn (E) P (NR) NR2 (2–6). In the 1, 1-addition reaction of the cyclodistannazane (1Bu2SnNMe) 2 with 1 the five-membered stanna heterocycle 1Bu 2Sn P [(NR)(NMeR)] N (Me) Sn tBu 2) NR (7) is formed by ring expansion.
