Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of pure cis-and trans-(4-methylcyclohexyl)-and cis-and trans-(4-tert-butylcyclohexyl) triphenylstannanes are described. Their conversion, by hydrochloric acid induced dephenylation-isopropylation, to the corresponding triisopropylstannanes proceeds smoothly to provide stereoisomers capable of providing significant information with respect to brominolysis and trifluoroacetolysis of the carbon-tin ...
