Abstract

dl-1-(3, 4-Dimethylphenyl)-2-aminopropanol derivatives and dl-1-(3, 4-dimethylphenyl)-2- aminoethanol were prepared from the corresponding amino ketones by catalytic hydrogenation in the presence of palladium-carbon catalyst.
