Abstract

The oxidation of white phosphorus by hydrogen peroxide or different organic peroxides (such as tert-butyl hydroperoxide, dibenzoylperoxide, 3-chloroperoxybenzoic acid) has been studied in both aqueous and alcoholic solutions under anaerobic conditions.
