Abstract
The stereoselective formation of the glycosidic linkage is one of the most important tasks in synthetic carbohydrate chemistry, because the glycoside structure plays a crucial role in many important biological processes involving oligosaccharides.[1] To date, 1, 2-trans- glycosides have been prepared through the intramolecular participation of the acyl protecting groups at the neighboring C2 position.[2] However, this method has serious ...
