Abstract
Recently, Ernest et al.1 used a naphthalene derivative as a scaffold for the construction of protein β-turn mimics, later for the same purpose Hirschmann2,3 employed a disub- stituted steroid derivative as a scaffold. Disubstituted steroid molecule was employed successfully for the construction of libraries of synthetic receptors4.
