Abstract

Abstract The sacrificial anode technique proved to be efficient for the selective and competitive silylation of 1-methylpyrrole bromides with trimethylchlorosilane and diorganodichlorosilanes. Linear and cyclic alternated 1-methyl-pyrrolylene-silanylene oligomers were obtained in good to high yields.
