Abstract
Summary The fractionation of the ether soluble alkaloids contained in the residual bases of aconitum napel-Zus yielded two new alkaloids, neoline, C24HuNOe, and napelline, CBH~~ NO~, as the main constituents together with traces of I-ephedrine and sparteine. All four alkaloids must be considered as genuine aconitum alkaloids.
